    Aloe Vera(Aloe barbadensis)

    A distinct Aloe vera cultivar that arose as a naturally occurring whole-plant mutation discovered in 2014 at a commercial greenhouse in Honselersdijk, Netherlands, and was granted U.S. Plant Patent PP32,609 in 2020. It is grown mainly as an ornamental container succulent.

    Visual Characteristics

    Light green upright foliar rosettes on short stems, with light yellow-green protuberances on the lower leaf surface and large, light green, spine-like teeth along the leaf margins.

    Growing Tips

    Propagated asexually (true to type) by rooting leaf cuttings and basal offsets; grown as an ornamental succulent requiring well-drained conditions. Roughly 9 months from cutting to a marketable plant per the patent.
