Visual Characteristics
Green culms (to about 1.5 in diameter) randomly striped with white/silver, sometimes cream at the base; narrow green leaves occasionally showing white variegation; some new shoots emerge with yellow-and-green striping before maturing.
Growing Tips
Non-invasive clumper needing no root barrier; can reach roughly 15-25 ft in favorable conditions. Grow in full sun to part shade; container growing tends to intensify the variegation. A good privacy screen and specimen.
