    A widely adaptable black pepper variety released by ICAR-Indian Institute of Spices Research, Calicut, as a clonal selection (KS-14) from the landrace Karimunda. It is valued for high quality across diverse growing regions.

    High quality with piperine about 5.1%, oleoresin about 13.0%, and essential oil about 7.0%.

    Medium-maturity vine with ovate leaves and spikes around 8.6 cm long.
