Black Pepper(Piper nigrum)
A hybrid black pepper variety released from the Pepper Research Station, Panniyur, from the same parentage as Panniyur-1 (Uthirankotta x Cheriyakaniakadan). It is a late-maturing selection.

Vigorous hybrid vine; late-maturing berries.
Growing Tips
Late-maturing variety suited to all pepper-growing regions of Kerala; yields about 1,953 kg berries per year.
