    A patented cultivar (US PP20,121) developed through a planned breeding program at the University of Georgia in Tifton, originating from a 2004 seedling discovery of an unnamed red Hibiscus acetosella selection. Grown for its intensely colored, deeply cut red foliage that holds its carmine-red color even through the hottest days.
