    White Adriatic, also sold as Green Ischia or Strawberry Verte, is an old green-skinned fig prized as one of the tastiest, with a rich strawberry-flavored pulp. Though not the hardiest fig, it still tolerates cold to about zone 7 and regrows readily from the roots after a hard freeze. An heirloom favorite grown for flavor above all.
