    Mexican Cream

    Guava(Psidium guajava)

    Bushy

Mexican Cream, also known as Tropical Yellow, is a white-fleshed guava celebrated for its mild, exceptionally sweet, creamy flavor. It produces small to medium round to oval fruit with pale yellow skin and tender, fragrant white flesh that is soft and low in acidity. Considered one of the finest dessert guavas, it is best enjoyed fresh out of hand and is also used in smoothies and desserts. The tree is fairly compact and productive, making it well suited to container culture and smaller yards in frost-free areas. Its delicate, custard-like sweetness distinguishes it from tarter pink types. Mexican Cream is a favorite selection for home permaculture plantings in mild subtropical climates.
