    Indian jujube(Ziziphus mauritiana)

    An improved ber cultivar in the 'Thar' series developed for arid and semi-arid regions, selected from local material in the Bhusavar area of Bharatpur district, Rajasthan. It bears very juicy, sweet fruit (TSS ~22-23%) suited to both fresh use and processing (murabba, candy, dried ber).

    Growing Tips

    Well suited to arid and semi-arid growing regions; yields roughly 30-36 kg per tree and its high sugar content makes it good for agro-processing.
