Mandarina

Leaves carry a mandarin/orange scent and flavor; popular for brewing a calming herbal tea and for flavoring soups, salads, and fish dishes.

Reaches roughly 12-26 inches tall with a bushy, somewhat lower and more spreading (trailing) clump of medium-to-light green foliage; small white flowers from late spring into summer. The trailing habit makes it useful as a 'spiller'.

Suits hanging baskets, raised beds, and use as a ground cover thanks to its trailing habit. Grown from seed.
