A vigorous, productive Japanese-origin cultivar producing some of the largest loquat fruit. One of the latest-ripening and best-keeping varieties.
Flavor Profile
Firm, aromatic orange flesh that is slightly acidic to sweet with excellent flavor.
Visual Characteristics
Very large, usually obovoid fruit weighing 2-3 ounces with attractive orange-yellow skin and rich orange flesh; typically 2-4 seeds.
Growing Tips
Self-fertile, but yield can roughly double when pollinated by 'Advance'. Ripens very late (early May in California) and keeps unusually well.
