Visual Characteristics
Bright orange-red ray flowers surrounding a yellow-orange disk; blooms about 2.5-3 inches across borne on tall, well-branched stems. Plants reach roughly 4-6 feet with a branching, somewhat gangly habit.
Growing Tips
Grow from seed in full sun and poor to average, well-drained soil; avoid rich soil or heavy fertilizer, and stake or shelter from wind since the tall stems can be brittle.
