Koroneiki

    Olive(Olea Europea)

A small-fruited Greek oil cultivar prized for exceptionally high oil content and quality, and one of the most widely used varieties in high-density oil orchards worldwide.

    Flavor Profile

Robust oil with pronounced bitterness and pungency and characteristic green banana and herbaceous notes when harvested early, shifting to tropical/ripe banana and floral notes when ripe.

    Visual Characteristics

Very small fruit on a medium-vigor tree with a compact, open growth habit and spreading canopy.

    Growing Tips

Medium-to-late ripening with very high fruit attachment force, so it is well suited to mechanical harvest in high-density systems; best in mild, frost-free climates.

    Resistance Information

    Disease Resistance

Tolerant of leaf (peacock) spot and moderately tolerant of verticillium wilt, but sensitive to olive knot; low cold hardiness.
