    Plantain(Plantago)

    Flavor Profile

Palatable herbal forage with the characteristic mineral-rich, slightly bitter plantain character favored by grazing ruminants.

    Visual Characteristics

Upright leafy habit similar to Tonic but with a greater density of leaves during autumn establishment; individual leaves may be somewhat smaller than Tonic's.

    Growing Tips

Suited to inclusion in general pasture mixes at roughly 2-3 kg/ha where grazing pressure is intense and frequent.

    Resistance Information

    Disease Resistance

Bred from plants surviving intense selection, conferring additional tolerance to grazing and farm-management stress; documented partial tolerance to phenoxy (e.g. 2,4-D, MCPB/MCPA) herbicides.
