    Visual Characteristics

    Clump of leathery bronzy-purple to purple-black leaves that develop especially good red color in autumn; reaches about 15-30 cm (6-12 inches) tall and wide, with insignificant greenish flower spikes.

    Growing Tips

    Grows in full sun to part shade in almost any soil type or pH; leaf color is best in direct sun. Remove flower spikes to prevent unwanted self-seeding. Suits borders, edging and containers.
