Sweet coconut water and good eating quality, comparable to its Panama Tall parent.
Visual Characteristics
Vigorous, sturdy palm intermediate between its parents, eventually reaching roughly 50-80 ft with a stout wind-tolerant trunk and full crown.
Growing Tips
Slower to begin bearing than pure dwarfs (about 4-8 years). Hybrid vigor gives strong, wind-resistant palms; avoid planting in zones with active Lethal Yellowing.

Bred for Lethal Yellowing resistance, but field resistance has proven variable and unreliable, with notable losses in some LY-active areas (attributed in part to genetic contamination of seed stock).
